Out Loud in Bellefonte: BHCA’s Literary Performance Series of Poetry, Prose & Storytelling
Out Loud in Bellefonte is a literary arts performance series named by the pronouncement from Émile Zola, “If you ask me what I came to do in this world, I, an artist, will answer you: I am here to live out loud.” Currently held on first Fridays at The Print Factory at 130 South Allegheny Street, the series features readings of poetry and prose by professional and community writers and storytelling through the Bellefonte Moth.
Coordinated by Julia Spicher Kasdorf, with help from many others through the years, the series has been sponsored by BHCA since its inception in 2013.
